Networks & Wi-Fi · Naples & SW Florida

Wi-Fi that reaches every room, and a network you can trust

Secure home and small-business networks around Naples and Southwest Florida. Set up cleanly, explained in plain English, and ready for storm season.

Sound familiar?

Florida homes and offices have their own Wi-Fi challenges. Most of them are fixable.

At home

  • Wi-Fi is strong by the router and gone by the lanai, the pool, the garage, or the back bedroom.
  • Concrete block (CBS) walls and long single-story layouts eat your signal.
  • You switched to fiber or a new provider, and the new router doesn't cover the house like the old setup did.
  • Cameras, doorbells, and smart thermostats drop offline, often while you're away for the summer.
  • The router still uses the password printed on the sticker, and you're not sure what's connected.

At work

  • Staff, guests, and client data are all on the same Wi-Fi.
  • The office runs on a consumer router that was set up once and never touched again.
  • Printers, card readers, or computers drop off the network at the worst times.
  • You're moving or expanding and need cabling and access points planned out.
  • You'd like door access or low-voltage work done by someone who also understands the network behind it.

What I do

Networks for homes and small businesses, set up so they stay up.

Whole-home & whole-office Wi-Fi

Coverage planned around your layout, using mesh or wired access points where they make sense, so the signal reaches where you actually use it.

Secure setup

Strong admin passwords, current firmware, correct encryption settings, and a separate guest network so visitors and smart devices stay apart from your computers.

Network security checkup

A walk-through of your router, passwords, and connected devices, with a plain-English list of what to fix first.

Cabling & low-voltage

Structured cabling for homes and offices, plus door access control for businesses, from someone who also sets up the network it connects to.

Help after an internet upgrade

New fiber install or a new provider? I'll get the new equipment working with your existing devices and make sure the coverage holds up.

Hurricane season and power blips

Hurricane season runs June 1 through November 30, and summer storms bring outages and surges all year. A few things I set up that genuinely help:

  • Battery backup (UPS) for the modem, router, and key equipment, so short outages and flickers don't knock everything offline.
  • Surge protection for your network gear.
  • A simple written record of your setup: network names, where the equipment lives, and how to restart it, so getting back online after a storm isn't guesswork.
  • For seasonal homes: settings that help cameras and smart devices reconnect on their own when the power comes back, so you're not left in the dark while you're up north.

A battery won't keep your provider's service running through a long outage, but it covers the short ones and protects your equipment.

How it works

  1. Reach outUse the quote form, email, or call or text (239) 989-1626. A few sentences about what you need is plenty.
  2. We talk it throughI ask a few questions and look at what you have now, whether that's a website, a network, or a computer.
  3. You get a written scope of workEvery job starts with a clear written scope of work: exactly what's being done, what it costs, and roughly how long it takes, before work begins.
  4. I do the workI keep you posted along the way and explain what I set up or changed.
  5. Help afterwardIf something comes up later, you know exactly who to call.

Network & Wi-Fi FAQs

Do I need mesh Wi-Fi?

Sometimes. Mesh works well in many homes, but in some layouts a wired access point or two does a better job. I'll look at your space before recommending anything.

Can you use the equipment I already have?

If it's in good shape and still getting security updates, yes. If something should be replaced, I'll tell you why.

Do you sell internet service?

No. I work with whatever internet provider you have and make the equipment inside your home or office work well.

How do I know if my network is secure?

A network security checkup is a good place to start. I review passwords, firmware, settings, and what's connected, then give you a short list of fixes.

Can you set up separate Wi-Fi for guests or customers?

Yes. Guests get internet access without seeing your computers, printers, or files.

I'm away part of the year. Can you help keep my home connected?

Yes. We can set things up so your Wi-Fi, cameras, and smart devices handle power blips better and are easier to check on while you're away.

Do you run network cable?

Yes. I do structured cabling and low-voltage work for homes and offices, and door access control for businesses.
